Transmission gratings and spectrometers for industry
Exhibition highlights

New OCT spectrometer to be revealed soon
At Photonics West 2026, we will reveal our newest OCT spectrometer. Stay tuned for the official introduction, where we will showcase its capabilities and discuss how it can revolutionize optical coherence tomography applications.
Ibsen Photonics deliver unmatched SD-OCT roll-off performance in compact form factors. Our spectrometers are widely recognized for their exceptional stability, with customers emphasizing that spectrometer replacement is never required during instrument servicing. We have been a leading provider of high-end spectrometers for SD-OCT for more than a decade, with over 20,000 units currently in use for retinal imaging, with exceptional reliability.
The success of our spectrometers is attributed to unmatched sensitivity, high-contrast depth imaging, environmentally stable, and calibration-free operation. This is made possible by our advanced transmission grating technology, which offers the world’s highest diffraction efficiency for OCT imaging wavelengths, paired with a diffraction-limited optical design of the spectrometers.

The world’s highest throughput Raman spectrometer
Our Raman spectrometers set the industry standard by delivering the world’s highest throughput combined with exceptional grating efficiency. This combination guarantees maximum sensitivity and superior resolution within robust yet compact designs. Designed for volume manufacturing, they provide consistent performance with low unit-to-unit variation, facilitating easy instrument integration.

Beyond offering OEM Raman spectrometers, we are committed to our customer’s success. With over 1,000 Raman spectrometers active globally, our collaborative approach focuses on identifying new market opportunities, expanding your sales potential, and delivering enhanced functionality tailored to end-user needs.

Versatile UV-VIS-NIR spectrometers covering the 173-2500 nm range
We serve a wide array of spectroscopy applications spanning the 173-2500 nm wavelength range. Designed to provide high broadband resolution and optical throughput, these spectrometers deliver an excellent balance of performance, resolution, and sensitivity. Significantly, in the LIBS application, we have more than 12,000 spectrometers in active use and an annual production of over 2,000 units.

Working with leading industrial companies on UV, VIS, and NIR applications, we have 30,000+ spectrometers active in the field. Whether you are involved in medical devices, pharmaceutical quality control, semi-conductor measurements, color measurement, or spectroscopic applications, we are here to support you.
