Ibsen’s OCT gratings are advanced, polarization-independent (PING) gratings fabricated using advanced lithographic or holographic stepper patterning combined with reactive ion etching in 100% dielectric materials. This technology provides unmatched thermal and environmental stability, with no polymers, epoxies, gelatins, or metals in the optical path – or anywhere in the grating structure.
The precision of our etching technology delivers industry-leading diffraction efficiency and ultra-low polarization-dependent loss (PDL) across an exceptionally broad bandwidth. Additionally, the low angular sensitivity of our gratings simplifies module design and facilitates seamless integration.
