The FREEDOM family of spectrometers offers compact spectrometer modules for OEM manufacturers of spectral instruments who refuse to compromise on performance and robustness for the sake of compactness. Our standard FREEDOM spectrometers provide the most compact form factor, while the FREEDOM HR/C series delivers high resolution. Various wavelength bands, ranging from UV to VIS-NIR, are supported across our different models.

If you require a broader spectral range, our broadband FREEDOM UV-VIS and UV-NIR spectrometers cover 190–850 nm and 190–1100 nm, respectively. The FREEDOM spectrometers can be configured with different slits and detector options to precisely match your application’s requirements. The high performance of our FREEDOM spectrometers is made possible by our in-house transmission gratings, featuring the world’s best diffraction efficiency.

The high sensitivity of our FREEDOM spectrometers is made possible by our unique in-house manufactured transmission gratings.

Our gratings provide unparalleled high broadband efficiency, enabled by optimized groove profiles, a thin optical path, and a high refractive index contrast. The inherent nature of fused silica ensures our gratings are thermally stable, while working in transmission providing angle insensitivity and vibrational stability.

We design our FREEDOM spectrometers to perfectly match and supplement the performance of our gratings, but we also supply gratings for use in your own spectrometer design.
