Exhibition highlights

OEM spectrometers for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing

Precision meets performance with our OEM spectrometers, built for demanding semiconductor fabrication. Designed to deliver exceptional consistency for high-volume production, these spectrometers provide tailored wavelength ranges from 190 nm to 2100 nm, supporting a wide array of metrology and process-control tools essential for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.

You can select from a comprehensive range of wavelength options and platforms, including:

  • The high-sensitivity EAGLE and ROCK spectrometers, ideal for Raman and NIR applications
  • The broadband FREEDOM spectrometers, optimized for UV and UV-VIS
  • The ultra-compact PEBBLE spectrometer, designed for space-constrained environments

Each model is engineered to perfectly align with your specific application needs, ensuring both precision and performance.

Compact UV-VIS spectrometers for end-point detection using spectroscopy

As semiconductor processes become increasingly complex, the ability to know exactly when a process step is complete is more critical than ever. End‑point detection (EPD) uses real‑time optical monitoring of spectral emission from the plasma to stop etch or deposition at precisely the right moment.

Combined with high resolution, robust environmental stability, and compact, integration‑friendly designs, our spectrometers help tool manufacturers push accuracy and repeatability to new levels.

We support instrument builders with high‑performance OEM spectrometers designed specifically for demanding EPD applications. Our fused‑silica transmission gratings deliver the world’s highest diffraction efficiency, enabling the high sensitivity required to detect subtle spectral changes during plasma etch or deposition.

NIR and UV-VIS spectrometers optimized for thin film characterization

In high‑volume manufacturing, every second counts, therefore non‑destructive optical metrology has become such a powerful tool. Instead of relying on slower, destructive techniques, optical spectroscopy lets you monitor thin‑film thickness and refractive index in real time.

Modern semiconductor fabs require optical systems to deliver:

  • Broad spectral coverage (typically 190–2100 nm)
  • High spectral resolution down to a few nanometers
  • Scan rates exceeding 100 spectra per second for high throughput support

We design compact, high-performance UV-VIS and NIR spectrometers tailored for semiconductor metrology, helping tool builders achieve the speed, stability, and accuracy their processes demand. Our spectrometers’ small footprint, high-speed acquisition, and industrial-grade stability enable reliable operation even in demanding environments.

Raman, UV-VIS and NIR spectrometers for wet‑chemistry process control

In semiconductor manufacturing, tight control of wet‑chemical baths is essential and optical spectroscopy offers fast, non‑destructive insight.

However UV‑VIS, NIR, and Raman each excel for different types of use cases.

  • UV‑VIS is great for tracking concentration, bath aging, and organic contamination. It is particularly effective for molecules with strong electronic absorption.
  • NIR is ideal for multi‑component mixtures and subtle composition changes. Its sensitivity to molecular overtones makes it useful for many organics and solvents.
  • Raman provides clear molecular fingerprints for identifying contaminants or unexpected species. It excels with molecules that have distinct vibrational modes.

We support all three techniques with compact, robust OEM spectrometers built for industrial environments, delivering stable, consistent performance and easy transferability across instruments.

For Raman spectroscopy, we offer configurations suited for 532 nm, 785 nm and 830 nm laser excitation, supported by several cooled detector options to match the requirements of different applications. Our Raman spectrometers are exceptionally sensitive due to the use of near‑100% efficiency transmission gratings.
