Ultra-compact and cost-efficient OEM spectrometer modules for the visible to near-infrared range

The PEBBLE VIS-NIR spectrometers offer a cost-efficient mini spectrometer module for OEM manufacturers of analytical instruments that do not want to sacrifice performance and robustness for compactness.

PEBBLE VIS-NIR is based on the same proven diffraction grating technology used in all other Ibsen spectrometers. This ensures that PEBBLE can be manufactured in high quantities with very small unit-to-unit performance variation.

This type of diode array spectrometer provides many benefits when used for absorption or fluorescence spectroscopy compared to optical-based filter instruments. In particular, the fluorescence spectrometer is less bulky and more inexpensive than the combination of several emission filters. The compact spectrometer is also easier to use and provides the full spectrum.

The miniature PEBBLE VIS-NIR spectrometer covers a wavelength range of 500 – 1100 nm and offers a resolution of 6.7 nm. It utilizes a fast S14739 CMOS detector from Hamamatsu.
