We are pleased to announce that the Ibsen Sustainability Report 2025 is now available.

The report provides insight into our sustainability approach, commitments and initiatives, as well as how we work to create long-term value for our customers, employees, suppliers and other partners.

Our approach to responsible and sustainable growth

Our sustainability approach is built around three key areas: innovating for the environment, investing in people and knowledge, and partnering for responsible practices.

Through these priorities, we work to minimize our environmental footprint, develop optical components that contribute to sustainable solutions and embed responsible practices across our value chain.

Our commitments include:

  • EcoVadis Gold Sustainability Rating – Ibsen joined the EcoVadis platform in 2026 and was awarded a Gold Medal for our sustainability efforts.
  • ISO 14001:2015 – certified environmental management system since 2023.
  • ISO 45001:2018 – certified occupational health and safety management system since 2023.
  • UN Global Compact – Ibsen joined the initiative in 2026, supporting its ten principles covering environmental protection, human and labour rights, and anti-corruption.
  • UN Sustainable Development Goals – while supporting all 17 SDGs, we have identified four areas where our operations and technologies can make the greatest contribution: Good Health and Well-Being, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Climate Action.
