Grating Engineer – Process Innovation

We’re looking for a talented optical or nanotech engineer to join our Grating team, where we design and manufacture world-class transmission grating utilizing the advanced processes of the semiconductor industry.

Your role: Process developer

You will join our 30-person Grating team. Our core technology and expertise revolve around understanding materials, processes, and equipment at the highest level.

Your role will focus on:

  • Identifying best practice and defining Standard Work in all our processes.
  • Innovating established Processes in order to increase our capabilities while improving robustness.
  • Automating procedures and processes
  • Specifying, searching and implementing of new advanced equipment.
  • Modelling and statistical analysis using tools such as Python, T-SQL, JMP, VBA and LabVIEW

Depending on your particular skills the role could include responsibility for one of our semiconductor production equipments or processes (e.g. SEM, ICP, AFM, wafer dicing, bonding, DUV Lithography)

What you bring

We are looking for someone who is both technically strong and a great team player. That is:

  • Hands-on experience in nanofabrication, free-space optics or automating workflows or processes.
  • A deep curiosity and problem-solving mindset regarding process development and optimization.
  • A proactive and determined attitude – you take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • A structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and quality assurance.
  • A collaborative mindset – you thrive in a diverse, international environment and value teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills – fluency in English is required, as well as willingness to learn Danish.

Ideally you also have

  • An understanding of volume production.
  • Experience with statistical modelling.
  • Some project management experience.
