EAGLE is a series of highly sensitive, high resolution spectrometers. Using Ibsen’s high efficiency, high dispersion transmission gratings in an on-axis lens-grating-lens design ensures world leading efficiency and high optical throughput.

The high sensitivity and resolution of our EAGLE spectrometers is made possible by our unique in-house manufactured transmission gratings.
Our gratings provide unparalleled high broadband efficiency, enabled by optimized groove profiles, a thin optical path, and a high refractive index contrast. The inherent nature of fused silica ensures our gratings are thermally stable, while working in transmission providing angle insensitivity and vibrational stability.
We design our EAGLE spectrometers to perfectly match and supplement the performance of our gratings, but we also supply gratings for use in your own spectrometer design.
