# Ibsen Photonics

> Ibsen Photonics is a Global OEM manufacturer of high-performance transmission diffraction gratings and compact spectrometer modules. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Farum, Denmark, Ibsen is majority-owned by FOSS A/S. All products are designed and volume-manufactured in a Class 10 cleanroom facility. Ibsen is the only spectrometer company with a 100% OEM focus, supplying components and modules that instrument manufacturers integrate into their own products.

Ibsen Photonics is the global leader in transmission diffraction grating technology. Its proprietary all-dielectric fused silica gratings deliver higher diffraction efficiency, superior thermal stability, and lower polarization sensitivity than conventional reflection gratings. This technology advantage underpins the optical performance of all Ibsen spectrometer modules.
