- A culture built on trust, collaboration, freedom with responsibility, and swift decision-making
- Opportunities to work with leading international companies in many different industries
- A workplace where your ideas matter – and where you will see them come to life
Your role: Mechanical design engineer
As part of our 10-person R&D team, you will play an important role in the mechanical design of our spectrometers. You will work closely with customers and colleagues across disciplines to bring new products from concept to production.
Your tasks will include:
- Design of opto-mechanical systems, cabinets, and production tooling for new spectrometers
- Design for reliable and robust manufacture and operation
- Design, build, and refine test setups
- Validating and documenting your work
- Troubleshooting production and test issues
- Coordinating and managing development projects
What you bring
We are looking for someone who is both technically strong and a great team player. Ideally, you have:
- A degree in engineering or similar
- Hands-on experience with mechanical design for optical- or fine mechanical components
- Experience with mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
- Experience with production-friendly design using epoxy and mechanical fixtures
- Experience with GPS and tolerancing
- A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
- A proactive mindset and a good sense of humor
You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our spectrometer design capabilities – and grow with us as we expand.
What we offer
